I purchased a security system HDIP 86W, with 6 cameras around $1000.00. I paid a company to install the system, $150.00.

I purchased the system on January 5,2016. I also purchased an extended warranty. The DVR had a power issue, no power to the cameras. I started calling to arrange for a warranty repair.

Their operator stated the estimated wait time is in excess of thirty minutes, they repeated my number to me and stated they will call me back in the order of my place in line. That never happened in an acceptable amount of time (9 days). E-mails, I sent three or four, no response. I have a home to protect and can't wait that long for a response.

I found a place in New York that would make the necessary repairs. Lorex's warranty is no good, their customer service is no good and their extended warranty is a complete waste of money.

Don't do business with this company. David Hopper

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $1150.

Lorex Cons: Coustomer service or lack of.
